Assignment: "Write a recruitment advertisement for Media Biz Advertising, for the position of Account Executive. You should include all the important and necessary details."


Media Biz studios is looking to hire an eager and motivated Creative Digital Account manager.

  • Qualifs: Undergraduate degree (or equivalent)

The Role:

We need someone who can work autonomously as an Account Executive, yet work within the Digital MediaBiz Team, alongside the intergrated agency offline account, creative and production teams.

Reporting to the Head of An autonomous Digitally- Savvy Account Manager to work within the Digital Team and alongside the integrated agency offline account, creative and production teams. Reporting into the Head of Digital MediaBiz, your role is to take responsibility for the digital deliverables across the agency.

Responsibilities include:

· Project briefing and management: Taking creative briefs from clients, making recommendations, asking questions and ensuring stakeholders and internal teams are accurately and clearly briefed on requirements. Manage the advertising process; ensure budgets are adhered to, chase for status reports from every team and feedback to clients regularly.

· Campaign strategy and competitor reviews: the majority of this role is developing and project managing the overarching strategy for client brands. Gaining insight from audience research and in depth competitive reviews you will be responsible for the execution and conceptualisation of campaigns.

· Client meetings and presentations: you will be a strong relationship builder and communicator with the savvy and gravitas to represent the agency to clients and recommend innovative digital ideas.

· Business development: growing the expertise of the digital team; developing client relationships to work on more sectors within the existing client base.

· New business pitches: you will be a major contributer to the growth of the digital sector. With a challenging billings forecast set for next year, you won't be shy of working towards challenging targets! Motivated and genuinely results driven, you will need to focus on details, as well as the big brand picture.

· Agency education: you will contribute to the workshop 'Digital Wednesdays'; teaching both internal colleagues and external stakeholders about the digital space, and the digital team.

Your Profile

· You are evangelical about Digital work! You have strong opinions and convictions; you strive to defy convention.

· Digital savvy - you are completely up to date with current trends within the digital space. With a working knowledge of campaign micro sites, display, banners, what makes a good email, appropriate use of social media, you'll need to know Adobe Dreamweaver inside-out!

· You will relish a challenge and be entrepreneurial in spirit - you will have a positive, winning attitude that will contribute to this agency becoming the best.

· You will have experience in digital account management in a 360 degree creative advertising environment, or a digital savvy PR and marketing professional. Your background could be an eclectic mix of Online / offline media, agency experience as a media planner/buyer, or an account handler from an advertising agency. Crucially you are intelligent, and detail focused, your mantra is "Performance = Attitude^2."
